Qatar held funerals on Thursday for six people killed in Israel’s attack on Doha and addressed the UN Security Council to condemn Tel Aviv’s assault.
Qatar’s Prime Minister said the country will continue mediation efforts, even if Israel is led by “bloodthirsty extremists.”
Following his address, the UN Security Council condemned the attack on Qatar but avoided mentioning Israel in the statement, which was agreed upon by all 15 members — including Israel’s ally, the United States.
