As the weather clears up in India’s northwestern state of Punjab, the true extent of the flood damage is slowly coming to light. The death toll stands at 53, while swathes of farmland have been destroyed. And survivors question whether the disaster is fuelled by climate change or poor planning. Smita Sharma reports.
