Qatar says no Gulf state is safe after Doha strikes | BBC News

Qatar has said no Gulf state is safe after Israeli strikes in Doha this week.

Dr Majed Al-Ansari, a spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spoke to BBC News in Doha after the strikes on a residential compound in the Qatari capital.

The attacks, which targeted senior members of Hamas, have been condemned by the United Nations.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it was justified because it targeted the "terrorist masterminds" behind the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack on Israel.
