The King and Donald Trump have hailed the "special relationship" between the UK and the US in speeches during a state banquet at Windsor Castle.
It was a day full of pomp and pageantry – from the carriage procession which carried Mr Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and the King and Queen to Windsor Castle, to the lavish banquet held in the president’s honour.
