Türkiye has been a strong supporter of Palestine for decades and was among the first countries to recognise the State of Palestine. And as more nations officially recognise Palestinian statehood, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to renew calls for a two-state solution during his speech at the UN General Assembly.
