President Trump has made an announcement on autism, claiming that the use of paracetamol in pregnancy is linked to an increase risk of the condition.
Americans consume more than 40% of all the world’s paracetamol, or ‘Tylenol’, as it is called by its leading brand name.
He strongly recommended that women stop the use of ‘Tylenol’ throughout pregnancy, saying if they can’t "tough it out" then their intake should be limited.
