As a host of Western countries recognise Palestine, it appears that Israel is becoming ever more isolated on the world stage. Netanyahu has previously said any recognition of a Palestinian state is a reward for Hamas, and that it would never happen. But as Israeli policies grow more aggressive, Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank fear they’ll never see a Palestinian state in their lifetime. Mohammad Al-Kassim reports.
