The Israeli army killed at least 84 Palestinians and injured several others in Gaza on September 24, according to medics, as world leaders call for an end to nearly two years of Israel’s genocide in the enclave.
On September 23, most UN Security Council members demanded an immediate ceasefire in besieged Gaza and condemned Israel’s relentless assault, while the US once again expressed solidarity with Israel.
Since October 2023, Israel’s bombardment has killed more than 65,400 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and rendered the enclave uninhabitable.
