Donald Trump says he’s held a ‘very successful’ meeting on Gaza hours after criticising nations for recognising the State of Palestine. The US president sat down with leaders of Arab and Muslim-majority nations, including Türkiye, after he spoke at the UN General Assembly. In a speech that was four times longer than his allotted time, he criticised the organisation, listed what he saw as the failings of many allies, and called climate change the greatest ‘con job’.
