UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric told TRT World that he recognises the frustration caused by the UN’s incapacity to end Israel’s war on Gaza and other global conflicts.
But he stressed that the UN Security Council — where the US has vetoed six Gaza ceasefire resolutions since October 7 — does not represent the humanitarian work carried out daily by thousands of UN staff worldwide.
