Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson has been speaking to Sky’s Sophy Ridge at the Labour Party conference in Liverpool.
She told Sophy that tackling child poverty is her "number one priority" as she knows what it’s like to "grow up not having very much".
When asked by Sophy if she would scrap the two-child benefit cap, Phillipson said: "I know it needs to happen in order to tackle child poverty".
