Every day, billions of cups of coffee are consumed all over the world. But in the last few years, prices have spiked. In Germany, roasted coffee is up 43% compared to last year. These price hikes have a lot to do with weather in coffee growing countries like Brazil, but that’s not all. Instability in global markets also contributes to the price we are paying.
