Serbian consumers worried about oil price hikes

In 2008, Serbia sold a 51 percent controlling stake in its state oil refinery to Russia’s Gaspromneft for nearly 585 million dollars. It was widely believed the sale was driven by Belgrade’s desire to gain Moscow’s support regarding the status of Kosovo. Now the US is sanctioning Serbia due to its majority Russian ownership. And Serbian consumers are worried about yet another price hike. Marko Vlahovic reports.
