Mahmoud Abu El-Fool says he entered Israeli custody with his sight — and left blind. The 28-year-old was arrested at a hospital in northern Gaza while already injured, and claims he was beaten and denied medical treatment during eight months of detention.
His story reflects dozens of other freed Palestinians who describe systematic torture and neglect in Israeli prisons. Abdalwahab Hamad reports from Gaza.
