In central Nigeria’s Muslim-majority state of Kwara, a group of young women is redefining what it means to play the beautiful game. Despite social pressure and limited resources, the players at Model Queens Football Academy train hard — wearing hijab, defying stereotypes, and breaking cultural barriers.
