A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck Türkiye’s town of Sindirgi in Balikesir province late Monday, with tremors felt in Istanbul, Izmir and Bursa, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, AFAD. The quake hit at 10.48 pm local time. Authorities have not reported any casualties.
