Residents of a home in Jackson Township, New Jersey, turned their yard into a politically themed Halloween display this year, depicting US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and figures representing undocumented migrants.
The yard featured puppets dressed in ICE uniforms, doll figures resembling children of undocumented migrants hanging from ropes, and a model of “Alligator Alcatraz,” a temporary migrant detention center in Florida that has sparked controversy.
While some visitors praised the display, others criticized it, arguing that it unfairly targeted undocumented migrants.
