Cecile Kohler and Jacques Paris, who were released from prison in Iran on Tuesday after more than three years in detention, are out on "conditional release", the Iranian foreign ministry said Tuesday. Last month, a Paris court granted conditional release to an Iranian national who was in custody. "Political analysts are speculating on whether this could be an exchange; if Kohler and Paris could return to Paris at the same time that Mahdieh Esfandiari comes home," said FRANCE 24’s correspondent in Tehran Saeed Azimi.
