The United States Government shutdown has lasted a record-breaking 35 days. Among the many consequences of the budget still not being passed is that some Air traffic controllers are calling out of work, buckling under forced overtime. If it continues, flights will have to be reduced. The proposed plan will reduce domestic flights up to 10% by next week, in an unprecedented but necessary moves, authorities say.
