Airports across the US are bracing for severe disruptions on Friday, and many passengers could be left stranded. The Federal Aviation Authority is cutting the number of flights over safety concerns. The US government shutdown means air traffic controllers haven’t been paid since October 1, and many aren’t showing up for work. Selina Downes reports.
