US President Donald Trump gave Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban a one-year reprieve from sanctions for buying Russian oil and gas on Friday after the leaders heaped praise on each other during a meeting at the While House. Trump has pushed other EU countries to stop buying Russian oil but he said landlocked Hungary was exempt as it is reliant on pipelines that lead to Russia.
