Illegal Israeli settlers attacked a group of Palestinian villagers, activists and journalists, including two Reuters employees, on 8 November, as they gathered to harvest olives near a settler outpost in the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses say that dozens of settlers launched the attack, wielding sticks and clubs, hurling large rocks and repeatedly striking Reuters photographer Raneen Sawafta as she tried to protect herself.
