Syrian President Ahmed al Sharaa played basketball with United States military officials Admiral Brad Cooper and Brigadier General Kevin Lambert ahead of his White House meeting with President Donald Trump on November 10 in a video shared by Syria’s foreign minister.
The meeting marks the first visit by a Syrian head of state. Since being declared president last December, Sharaa has sought to restore Syria’s international relations.
