The family of the former Gabonese President Ali Bongo say they won’t attend court sessions this week. President Bongo’s wife Sylvia Bongo and his son Noureddin Bongo, have been accused of manipulating the former president, who suffered a serious stroke in 2018, and effectively embezzling public funds.
