Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces are expanding their offensive that began in the Darfur region eastwards into the Kordofan province, as government forces remain on the backfoot. That means Sudan is slipping deeper into one of the world’s most catastrophic crises — a war now stretching across cities, camps, and entire regions without mercy.
