British activist Ruth Herbert, who walked from the United Kingdom to Istanbul to raise funds for the Medical Aid for Palestinians charity, concluded her 6.5 month journey in the Turkish city on November 15.
Herbert, 52, set off from her home in Arnside on May 2, 2025, and reached Türkiye after passing through 12 countries, raising around $65,000.
