This is the moment the UN Security Council approved Trump’s plan for Gaza.
The text supports an international stabilisation force, references the possibility of a future Palestinian state “when conditions may finally be in place,” and authorises a Board of Peace to govern Gaza until 2027, theoretically chaired by Donald Trump.
However, the resolution has not so far been accepted by Hamas, which stated that it imposes “international guardianship” on Gaza and argued that the international force should “be deployed only at the borders” and “under UN supervision.”
