President Donald Trump signed a bill requiring the Justice Department to release all its case files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The Senate approved the measure on Wednesday without debate or opposition, a day after only one member of the House of Representatives voted against it. Trump’s signature marks a reversal of his months-long opposition to the legislation.
However, loopholes in the law could still allow some documents to be withheld, such as a provision exempting files needed for ongoing investigations.
