Transport Minister Heidi Alexander says Donald Trump’s Ukraine peace plan "needs additional work" before it can be accepted by Kyiv and European powers.
Speaking to Sky’s Trevor Phillips, she demurred when asked whether the UK had been consulted on the draft before it was leaked.
Trump has given Ukraine until Thursday to accept the deal, which many say overly favours Russia.
