Hong Kong’s government has ordered the urgent inspection of all apartment blocks under repair, after the territory’s deadliest fire in decades. It’s also providing 1,000 units in hotels and youth hostels for residents of the blocks in the Tai Po estate, where a fire began on Wednesday afternoon and soon engulfed multiple buildings. Thirty-two hours later, the number of people killed has risen to 65, with at least 279 still missing. Bassam Bounenni reports.
