Israel killed at least five Palestinians, including two children, with air strikes on Khan Younis, on December 3.
The strikes came shortly after Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to "respond accordingly" to soldiers being injured in clashes with Palestinian fighters in Rafah.
