‘A gas cylinder blast sparked a nightclub fire in Goa that killed at least 25 people, most of them venue staff along with several tourists’, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, while also expressing his condolences to the families. He added that ‘the state government will launch an inquiry to determine the exact cause of the fire and whether safety and building norms were followed.’
