Thailand holiday hotspots affected by border clashes

Tourism in Thailand’s Trat province has sharply declined, with hotel cancellations reaching 60% amid rising tensions and clashes with Cambodian forces. Martial law and repeated drone incursions worried tourists and local businesses, causing major drops in visitor numbers on islands like Koh Kood and Koh Chang. As ceasefire agreements remain fragile, the ongoing border conflict continues to threaten the region’s tourism-dependent economy. Tommy Walker reports from Trat province in Thailand.
