Sierra Leone has officially declared the end of its Mpox outbreak after meeting international health standards by going more than 42 days without a new confirmed case, Health Minister Austin Demby said. The country recorded over 5,400 cases and 60 deaths during the epidemic, and authorities celebrated the milestone as a sign of strengthened public health response
