Sudan is facing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis after nearly three years of war.
Millions are facing famine, while both the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces are accused of blocking aid and committing atrocities.
Speaking from a displacement camp in Sudan, the Norwegian Refugee Council’s Mathilde Vu says the situation has reached "rock bottom".
Sudan’s ambassador to the UK, Babikir Elamin, rejects allegations of war crimes, insisting the army is responding to "external aggression" and has a "constitutional and moral duty to defend the people".
But former UK ambassador to Sudan, Nicholas Kay, warns the war will continue as long as foreign powers keep supplying weapons, adding that "the only people who are going to lose are the Sudanese people" as neither side is capable of achieving an outright military victory.
