The US military says it’s conducted two more strikes on suspected drug-smuggling boats in the Eastern Pacific, killing five people. It follows a proposal by Donald Trump to impose a blockade of sanctioned vessels transporting Venezuelan oil. The move would increase pressure on President Nicolas Maduro by directly impacting an already weak economy. Ana Herrero reports from Caracas.
