Somalia is gearing up to hold its first democratic election in nearly six decades. According to the country’s polling agency, over a million people in Mogadishu alone have registered so far. As Abdirahman Yussuf reports from there, many young Somalis are signing up… not only as voters but also as candidates, despite persistent security threats from the armed group Al Shabab.
