The US says it has seized an oil tanker, operating under a Russian flag, in the Atlantic Ocean. American forces had been pursuing the ship for weeks and had tried to board it unsuccessfully in the past. It’s one of a growing number of sanctioned vessels to be captured under the Trump administration, part of what it says is its plan to bring stability to Venezuela.
