Bosnia’s ‘Sarajevo Safari’ allegations are back in the spotlight

The Sarajevo Safari has come back into focus – an alleged practice during the 1990s siege of Sarajevo, in which wealthy foreign nationals reportedly paid to kill civilians. After an investigation was opened in Italy, claims also surfaced linking Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to the events. Vucic has categorically denied the allegations, as human rights groups point out that those who fired on civilians from military positions have still not faced justice.

Across The Balkans, hosted by Semir Sejfovic, is TRT World’s programme focusing on the issues and fault lines shaping Southeast Europe today.
