Protesters clashed with ICE in Minneapolis, United States, on Thursday, as demonstrators tried to block federal agents’ vehicles from leaving the compound.
On Wednesday, an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old legal observer, during a raid.
Even though videos clearly show that Good was not endangering the lives of ICE agents, the Trump administration claimed she tried to run over officers, labeled her a “terrorist,” and said the shooting was an act of self-defense by agents.
According to The Trace, Good is the fourth person killed during an ICE operation in recent months. The nonprofit, which investigates gun violence, has documented 15 incidents in which immigration agents shot someone and says at least three of those involved people being shot during immigration raids.
