Malaysian student Ariff Imran studies electronic engineering in Türkiye, where he also leads the Malaysian Students Association and met his wife there. Türkiye is rapidly becoming a top destination for international students, hosting nearly 350,000, with many Malaysians benefiting from full scholarships. Students say studying in Türkiye offers cultural exchange, language learning and career-building opportunities, making it feel like a second home. Kubra Akkoc reports from Istanbul.
