An Iranian activist has told Sky News that some families are being forced to sign forms declaring their loved ones were killed by the opposition – not members of the security forces shooting at anti-regime protesters.
It means some Iranians are refusing to give the bodies of family members to hospitals and are instead keeping them at home.
Thousands of people are believed to have been killed in several days of anti-regime protests.
