The family of detained Iranian protester Erfan Soltani, whose death sentence was postponed by authorities following pressure from the United States, is still worried their relative could face execution. “We are concerned given the Islamic Republic’s track record,” a family member told FRANCE 24. “They have not cancelled his sentence, they have simply not carried it out” yet, she said.
