Federal law enforcement agents were forced to leave a Mexican restaurant in St Paul, Minnesota, on January 11 after diners confronted them with shouts and expletives.
Under US law, officers may enter public areas of a business, such as dining spaces, parking lots, or waiting areas, but they may not enter private areas without a warrant or the business owner’s permission.
