EU leaders will meet in the coming days after President Donald Trump threatened tariffs on eight countries in a dispute over Greenland. Plus, France wants the bloc to use its so-called trade "bazooka."
The European Union is committed to upholding the sovereignty of Greenland and Denmark, European Commission chief von der Leyen said after speaking to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
