Recent flooding in the Podgorica–Danilovgrad area left main roads closed, farms cut off, and households counting losses. After the rivers overflowed, water levels also rose at Skadar Lake, adding new pressure on communities near the shore. Experts warn that extreme rainfall is only part of the story, and weak long-term adaptation is worsening the damage.
