Relief in Greenland after US backs diplomatic path

Tensions over Greenland have eased after Danish and Greenlandic officials reaffirmed a joint diplomatic approach following talks with the United States and NATO. US President Donald Trump has backed away from earlier annexation threats, with Denmark stressing that Greenland’s sovereignty is not in question. Residents say they’re relieved, for now.
