Developing: US media are reporting that that one person has died after being shot by federal agents in Minneapolis.
The Department of Homeland Security said the situation was ‘evolving’ but claimed that the man who was killed had a firearm and two magazines. The shooting comes less than three weeks after the fatal shooting of Renee Good, which has already sparked protests across the city. Thousands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, agents have since been deployed to the Democratic‑led city as Republican President Donald Trump intensifies his nationwide campaign to deport immigrants.
