US rock climber Alex Honnold made history on January 25 as the first person to successfully free climb Taiwan’s iconic 101-storey Taipei 101 skyscraper without ropes or harness.
Honnold completed the 508-metres ascent in 91 minutes and 30 seconds in what organisers said was the highest free-solo climb of an urban structure in history.
