Israel has announced it will partially reopen Gaza’s Rafah crossing with Egypt, but only for the passage of people, and not for aid. It says the crossing will reopen after an operation to locate the body of the last remaining Israeli hostage in Gaza is completed. The crossing will remain under full Israeli control.
